Spring Break with a Side of Mississippi

We started Spring Break a day early and hit the road on Friday so we could go meet this cutie.

We had lots of fun!  The kids did great being on the road for 13 hours.  Even Eli handled it like a trooper!  We drove like crazy, two stops total each trip!  That's pretty good for a mom, 7 year old, 4 year old and 8 month old!

We did a whole lot of nothing.  Lounging, eating, playing, eating, relaxing, movies; you know, all the stuff normal people do on vacation.  Right?

It was great to see them, and so much fun to catch up.  These two take their roles as big brother and big sister very seriously! :)

And true to tradition, I didn't get a single picture of me and Ashley.  I never remember to take a picture of us...  

The rest of our Spring Break was spent playing outside, cleaning up the construction mess at the new house and baseball practice.  I haven't taken a single picture of baseball practice either... I'll get to that this week.

All in all, it's been a wonderful break.  It always goes too fast, and we get way too used to hanging out with Ty. 10 weeks until school is out, but who's counting? ;)
