Strawberry Shortcake Fun!

Miss Allie Renee turned 5 years old this past week!  We celebrated all day long and then had a proper birthday party during the weekend.

She chose a Strawberry Shortcake theme and insisted on cupcakes for the 4th year in a row.  It was fun!

We had waffles for breakfast, Mcallister's for lunch and Ruby Tequilas for dinner on the day of her birthday.  These are all of her favorite things, and she couldn't have been any happier!

She had lots of fun, and it was even more exciting to have all of her cousins at her party!

We celebrated at home with burgers and watermelon.  She opened gifts and blew out candles!  We then moved the party up to the hospital to celebrate with Nana.  We were all excited to have a little party on the patio!  It was Mom's first trip outside after weeks in the hospital.  

It was a perfect birthday week, and this sweet girl makes us proud!

5 Fun Facts about Allie

1. She LOVES accessories!  She dresses up no matter where we are going!
2. She LOVES her brothers!  She may always wear jewelry and heels, but she wears them to play trucks and transformers with her brothers!
3. She is very excited about starting Kindergarten next year.  She has been begging to go to school so she can be just like big brother.
4. She loves to spend time with her Daddy.  She always begs to go with him, no matter where he's headed.
5. She has an incredible imagination!  She plays for hours and hours with dolls, legos, stuffed animals and her babies.

You are a precious daughter, ornery little sister, and loving big sister.  You make us laugh every day and your smile is so contagious!  You've experienced too much tragedy during these past few years, but God has made you so resilient and I know you are a stronger person for it. You are such a gift and  we love you so much sweet girl!
