Hello February

It's been a busy couple of weeks around here.  Catholic School's Week was lots of fun again this year.  We got to have Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad with Ty.  The kids LOVE having breakfast at the school!

Ty received the Citizenship award for Mrs. Bowman's first grade class.  He was very excited and Mom and Dad are very proud of him!

He had a noon dismissal on Friday, so we had a lunch date with our guy at Chic-Fil-A.  We miss him when he's at school, so it was fun to get to hang out for lunch and the afternoon.

We woke up to 3 inches of snow one Sunday.  I love walking to church in the snow.  That may sound crazy, but it's so silent, peaceful and clean.  Very few people have driven or walked anywhere, so everywhere you look it is fresh and undisturbed.

Eli LOVED having the snowflakes on his nose!  I wish I had had a camera with me, but the walk to church doesn't usually call for our phones or cameras.  His little face sticking out of his hat and giant coat are too cute!

We got to catch up with Andrea and Lance on their drive through!  It was so fun to see them again. Andrea is one of those friends who no matter how long it has been since we talked or hugged, we pick up right where we left off.  I love it!  Her family is too cute!  Plus, I get my Godmother/Godson picture when we see her!

Allie went to cheer camp at CTK and then cheered with the big cheerleaders at the basketball game.  She had so much fun!  I was amazed at how much she picked up and remembered in just a few short hours.  This little girl was SO excited!

I love this picture of Allie and Eli "taking a nap" on the couch.  She told me that they were going to lay down for a nap, and I couldn't help but laugh every time I heard them giggle!  She's such a great big sister!

And this little man turned 7 months old!  He is so much fun!  His little grins and sweet face light up our world!
